Toddlers totally suck a walking. and stairs.  And as for the combination of the two- forget it.

It's a Girl! Part Two!

You may recall that we up and had ourselves a little girl.  and then she turned into a little GIRL.  and now everything she does has that special girrlie flourish.  Exhibit the second: Her first haircut.

OMG! Hair cut and mirrors and blowdryers...SQUEEEEEE!  The end result was something even better than the lollipop- PERMAGRIN.

Fourth..of something or another

We spent the fourth of July out in the Sticks of Virginia* with some good friends.  It was a perfect weekend getaway and it just so happens that we had the perfect view from out front porch rocking chairs of not one but 3 different fireworks shows!  Horses and Rivers and Pyrotechnics, Oh MY!

*"the Sticks" is not an actual place.  The actual place is Rivers Bend Ranch and I highly recommend it- but I'm highly biased.
